1980s

The 1980’s were a period of great change for Agnes. She and Al bid farewell to the east side of Cleveland and put down new roots in an 1843 heritage home in lovely Hudson just one block from Western Reserve Academy where four sons had attended high school. Her children graduated college and began exciting careers of their own in New York. Most importantly, after years of hard work, she and Al downshifted and began to relax and enjoy themselves. Aggie took up new hobbies like gardening and civic projects for the town of Hudson. She and Al continued to travel throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas at a more leisurely pace, always finding time to visit her children and their growing families.
